Critical lens

The author Vince Lombard wrote this quote "Winning is not the most important thing, it's everything." In my opinion he means that being successful is not the greatest thing, it's everything. In the reminiscence "The Admiral by Coreen Glynn. The Characterization in this story is based on a guy named Jimmy. He was some source of homeless but still he was successful because he had many friends and enjoyed every minute of his life.
