Should beepers be banned?

No. Beepers should not be banned in schools. I understand that years ago it was about drugs. That’s a reason they didn’t allow it. But now is so different, even professionals carried beepers like doctors, lawyer’s etc. It’s just for our safety that sometimes we carried beepers in school.

I don’t think carrying a beeper bothers anyone, if we have it on vibrating mode. It doesn’t interrupt us while we are in classes. no one is going to be beeping every day knowing that we are in class and we can’t call back. If it is an emergency nothing matters more than what can happen to one of our families. A class we can make up anytime. They are not going to be interrupting every day because emergencies do not happens everyday. Parents care about us and that’s why they want us to carry beepers in school.
